11th Annual Floor Hockey Game at EastBrook School

The 11th Annual Teacher/Student Floor hockey game took place on Feburary 27, 2013 at Eastbrook School in Paramus. This is the culminating event of the Floor Hockey Club, which is advised by physical education teachers Marc Gregory and Brian Hay. Over 100 EastBrook students in grades 5-8 compete in league and tournament play from October through January, and the team in first place gets to take on the teachers. The game was played in front of a standing room only crowd consisting of enthusiastic students, teachers and parents interested in cheering on their friends, colleagues and children. Music teacher Greg Nalesnik and his keyboard provided popular tunes throughout the event, while Karl Koenig, teacher’s aide, served as official for the game. In the end, the teachers prevailed 10-6.
