In recognition of Veterans Day, the New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame and Museum at Teterboro Airport hosted a ceremony on Nov. 10 honoring all of the men and women who have served in the U.S. armed forces and those on active duty.

The keynote speaker was Viktor Tkaczenko, who served in three different armies – first in the Ukraine under Stalin, then in Germany under Hitler, and finally, in the United States, assigned to the Army Counterintelligence Unit from 1951 to 1954.

Founded in 1972, the Aviation Hall of Fame and Museum of New Jersey is dedicated to the preservation of the Garden State’s aviation and space heritage.
