Bergen Students Present ‘Tupac Back’

TupacIn a tribute to musical artists of the past, Bergen Community College students will present “Tupac Back” on Tuesday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Mexicali Live, 1409 Queen Anne Road, Teaneck.

Conceived, produced and performed by BPM (Business, Production and Music) – a student-run group – the show will feature the music of artists including Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye and Nirvana, alongside original work by songwriting students. Bergen music professors Dan Sheehan and Andrew Krikun will perform a John Lennon tribute.

The show marks BPM’s first off-campus concert. SPREAD, a company dedicated to fostering positive change in the community through fashion and music, provided assistance in securing a venue.

Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door. To purchase, visit mexicalilive.com. Proceeds will benefit the music department student fund.
