On Sept. 23, a Paramus resident contacted a home cleaning service he found on Craig’s List to clean his house. Edira Durakovic, 36, of Rutherford, arrived at his home, and after she left, the resident noticed that approximately $2,000 worth of jewelry was missing from the master bedroom.
Paramus Detective Michael Cebulski conducted the investigation and was able to determine that Durakovic acted alone. Cebulski recovered two of the five pieces of stolen jewelry and Durakovic was charged with one count of theft.
Durakovic was released on her own recognizance with a court date scheduled for Oct. 30, reports said.
