The student council at East Brook Middle School in Paramus recently sponsored a Pajamas/Hat Day to benefit the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America. In total, the students raised $292.
East Brook students spread some holiday cheer while raising funds for the CarePlus organization of Fair Lawn. For 50 cents, students sent Candy Cane-Grams to friends and school staff members. The Candy Cane-Grams, which contained a candy cane with a short message, were delivered by student council members during homeroom the week before the holiday recess. A total of $200 was donated to CarePlus.
The East Brook Middle School REACT Club recently sponsored a holiday gift drive to benefit the children in need at CarePlus in Fair Lawn. A total of 21 members and several school staffers traveled to a local Target store to purchase gifts for more than 40 CarePlus kids. They then wrapped and delivered the presents to CarePlus.
