A group of 204 freshmen from Paramus Catholic High School toured the Washington, D.C. area from June 7 to June 8 during a trip filled with fun and educational activities.  Students and chaperones visited historic sites as the White House, Capitol, Washington Monument and the Vietnam, World War I, World War II and Korean War memorials. They also visited the Jefferson, Roosevelt and Martin Luther King Jr. memorials and the Tidal Basin.

One of the trip’s highlights was a private meeting in the Rayburn Congressional Office Building with Rep. Donald Payne, Jr., whose triplets are freshmen at Paramus Catholic. Students also enjoyed visiting the pandas at the National Zoo as well as the Spy Museum.
