Hackensack High School Student Represents USA

Ezra-Wrice1-1 copyAs a member of this year’s Under-18 National Team, defensive lineman EZRA WRICE of Hackensack High School had the opportunity to represent the United States at the 2015 International Bowl. Hosted at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Wrice’s skill set and athleticism helped Team USA in a tough competition, with a 25-9 loss to Team Canada.

The 2015 International Bowl is a collaboration of the sport’s national governing bodies in each country – USA Football and Football Canada – featuring top student-athletes in football’s greatest annual international competition.

Team captains for the game included quarterback Dwayne Haskins of Gaithersburg, Md., offensive lineman Eli Johnson of Oxford, Miss., defensive lineman Jake Fuzak of Buffalo, N.Y., and linebacker Jonathan Pollock of Orlando, Fla. The team’s flag bearer was running back Robert Washington of Charlotte, N.C.
