Throughout the month of February, Fanny Meyer Hillers School of Hackensack celebrated African culture and African-American history. Among the activities was an African heritage fashion show where all staff members and students were invited to wear traditional attire. Over the morning announcements, Ms. Odomuso, a para-educator of Nigerian decent, discussed history about the fabrics, colors and culture of her country.
