Indoor Baseball Teams Battle

On Jan. 26, Hackensack Gators Team A and Team B faced off against each other in the championship game of the P.B.I. indoor winter baseball league in Upper Saddle River. After four innings, the game was tied 0-0, with a pitching duel between Team A pitchers Justin Malvasia and Jeffery Pena and Team B pitchers Ryan Nakajima and Keith Galfo.

Nakajima was the first to score off of Gators A relief pitcher Derek Lewandowsk, landing a shot to left field. Gators B won the championship by a score of 7 to 0. Gators B was led by Coaches Mike Limone and John Rivera, and Gators Team A was led by Coach Isaiah Thomas.
