On Feb. 12, two Hackensack High School sophomores, Isiah Katallage and Eric Scardino, visited Jackson Avenue School.  They used Valentine’s Day to promote respect, friendship and reconciliation while integrating their anti-bullying message.

They presented the younger students with a Friendship Bus, which was to be used to collect and distribute “I’m Sorry-grams” to their classmates the following week. Jackson Avenue students were asked to send the messages of friendship to someone they may have hurt while practicing the concepts of forgiveness and reconciliation.
