TCF directly assists families of children with cancer and life-threatening blood diseases through financial, psychological and social services support. The Mark Messier Skyway for Tomorrows Children connects the Don Imus/WFAN Pediatric Center to the new state-of-the-art children’s and women’s pavilion at HUMC. The Skyway provides an area for children to enjoy interactive videos and games, and to view a vast collection of personal memorabilia marking some of Messier’s most memorable NHL milestones. Messier serves as honorary vice president of TCF and sits on the Board of Governors at HUMC. He is the second all-time leading scorer in NHL history and the only NHL player to captain two different Stanley Cup winners: the 1994 New York Rangers and the 1990 Edmonton Oilers.
