At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 2, Mulawka was on patrol on Route 17 North when he ran a license plate and it came back stolen.  Mulawka followed this vehicle north on Route 17 and onto Route 4 West, pulling over the motorist on Route 4 West near Paramus Road. When back-up units from Maywood and Paramus arrived to assist.  Mulawka arrested the driver, Sean Livingston, 26 of Nanuet, N.Y., for receiving stolen property.  Two passengers, Thomas Russo, 24, of Mineola, N.Y, and Elizabeth Julian, 26, of Upper Saddle River, were also arrested.  Russo was charged with hindering apprehension for providing a false name.  He had an active warrant out of Park Ridge, and was turned over to that agency for processing.  Julian was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  She was released on her own recognizance after processing at headquarters.
