Maywoodians Welcome First 2013 Baby

HackensackUMC welcomed the first Bergen County baby born in 2013 at the Donna A. Sanzari Women’s Hospital. Elodie Ann Sadowski came into the world at 12:03 a.m. weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces and measuring 19 ½ inches in length.  Elodie is the first child of John and Lisa Sadowski, who live in Maywood.

Lisa Sadowski was in labor for 10 hours before Elodie was born, and both mother and daughter are now doing well.

“We were surprised Elodie was born on a holiday,” said Lisa Sadowski. “We didn’t think we’d have a holiday baby, let alone a New Year’s baby.  But her birthday will be even more special now and we look forward to telling our daughter the story of her birth.”
