National Memory Screening Day
HackensackUMC recently participated in National Memory Screening Day, an annual initiative of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. More than 80 people attended the event, which was sponsored by the Center for Healthy Senior Living and Division of Geriatrics, and was held at the John Theurer Cancer Center at HackensackUMC. The event featured free, confidential memory screenings and educational materials about memory concerns, dementia, caregiving and successful aging.
Nationwide, more than 7,000 local sites participated in this year’s National Memory Screening Day.
