In preparation for Relay Field Day on May 9, students at West Brook Middle School of Paramus have been busy fundraising and designing T-shirts. The school organized a jellybean contest, which raised $175 for cancer prevention. The winners were Rawdah Elsayed and Ariela Zonenashvili. The children also designed patterns to be silk screened onto T-shirts to be worn on the day of the event. The T-shirt design winners were Chery Gada, grade 5; Cavin Gada, grade 6; Caroline Shen and Taniya Sood, grade 7; and Rosalia Jeon, grade 8. Relay Field Day teaches children about cancer prevention while empowering them to join the fight against cancer.
